Ownership
I have trained for many different types of owners. There are single owners as well as companies and individuals with one or more horses and a number of partnerships where a group divides the costs and winnings and shares the fun.

We have produced winners for over half of them and given many more the thrill of seeing their horses in the frame. We have introduced a number of people who have gone into joint ownership together and we often have promising horses waiting for someone to purchase a share.
The picture above shows Sir Alex Ferguson making the presentation to Inspirina's connections at Chester [photograph - Stephen Davies]; and below, Forest Gunner, connections and Peter Buchanon after his win at Aintree over the National Fences [photograph - John Grossick] and, bottom right, connections join me to saddle up Silver Steel at Uttoxeter.

I regularly attend the major sales in the UK as well as Ireland and France, looking to buy promising horses for the yard or to a prospective owner’s specific brief.

“A TENNER A WEEK is all it cost members of Alliance Partnership to train Dream Alliance, who won the 2009 Coral Welsh National. The syndicate of ordinary Welsh folk includes a bailiff, a plasterer, a garage owner, a car washer, four retirees, a painter and decorator, a taxi driver, and three factory workers.” Nobody guarantees 22 starts, 5 wins and prize money of £138,646 but if you have a group of like-minded friends, we can find you a horse and manage it for you. We do guarantee some fun.
